     John Hanson Sr was born circa 1663 at MD. He married Elisabeth Hussey, daughter of Thomas Hussey Gent. and Johanna Porter, before November 1705 at Charles, MD. He married Mary Goodrick in 1747.

     Mary Hanson was born circa 1710 at Charles, MD. She married William Clements, son of John Clements and Elizabeth Plunkett, in 1728 at Charles, MD. As of circa 1731,her married name was Clements.

     Benjamin Harrison I was born circa 1594 at Saint Giles, Northamptonshire, England. He was a carpenter by trade; Clerk at Law. He emigrated before 1633 from England. He was a carpenter by trade; Clerk of the Council of Virginia. He lived between 1635 and 1648 at Wakefield, Surry Co., VA. He married Mary Stringer (Sturger) circa 1642 at VA. He was House of Burgesses member in 1642 at VA. He died after 1648 at Jamestown, James City Co., VA.

     Honorable Benjamin Harrison II was born on 20 September 1645 at Wakefield, Surry Co., VA. From "The Ancestors of John Allen Harrison":

Benjamin Harrison (II) was born September 20, 1645 in Surry County across the river from Jamestown where the family had apparently moved. There he continued working the land as his father had done before him. Like his father, he too entered public service, becoming a Justice in 1671. He was sent to England As Commissioner for the Colony against Commissioner Blair. He later went on to serve in the House of Burgesses, and became an influential member of the powerful King's Council and was also a liberal supporter of the Established Church. He left a legacy of 20 pounds, "to buy ornaments for the chapel" and that "my executors to provide them as soon as may be after the new chapel is built, and my will is that five acres of my land be laid out where the old chapel now stands, and that it be helped for that use forever." He died on January 30, 1712, and was buried in the churchyard at Cabin Point in Suny County, where the epitaph on his tombstone bears eloquent testimony to his life: "Here lyeth the body of Benjamin Harrison, Esq., Who did justice and loved mercy, and walked humbly with his God; was always loyal to his Prince and a great benefactor to his country".
